Christina and I went out on Saturday morning to run a few errands and check to see if maybe the iPhone hubbub had died down. The line of approximately 100 people at Fair Oaks outside of the Apple Store confirmed otherwise and that it would be at least a few more days until I get my iPhone. I caught a guy at 10:45am as he was leaving and he said the store opened at 9am but he was in line at 7:30am. That was just a bit longer than I wanted to wait in line! It looks like more than a few were willing to wait in line and Apple must be feeling pretty good today despite the mishaps on Friday.
Later in the day, 7 of us crashed our friends Jason & Angela’s house and tormented their kids for a little while. We then played two rounds of girls vs. boys board games which drew to a tie though the underdog won each game.
On Sunday, I played my first round of golf in quite a long time as a trial run for the big golf outing next weekend at 8balls with 12 or so other friends. Being away from the game for awhile didn’t seem to affect my game too much - With my golf skills, I couldn’t really get any worse. I did manage to beat Jose but that’s not anything to be too proud of.
